All applicants must provide acceptable identification (must be original, no photocopies will be accepted) prior to writing an exam.  (Proof of residency may also be required)

Written tests are available for:

Class 1 • Class 2 • Class 3 • Class 4 • Class 6 • Class 7 • Air Brake

The following languages are only available for Class 7 tests, all other tests are only available in English

All written exams must start at least 60 minutes before closing time.

There is no appointment necessary, except for Translated Oral Test (contact our office for appointment).  A knowledge test can only be taken once per day (at any registry).  There is no limit as to how many times you may take a test, however, you must pay the knowledge test fee each time, and you must provide acceptable identification each time.
